Neopets" is a free online game in which players create pets and buy items. Some items in the game are better than others, but these good items are expensive and difficult to get. Rather than buying them in shops as you would with standard items, you need to find other means of getting them. These usually require visiting special shops or buying them directly from other players. You can collect these special items, sell them or use them to better your pets.
Instructions
1. Save your Neopoints. These are the primary form of currency in Neopets. Good items are generally expensive, so you'll need a lot of Neopoints to buy them. Keep your Neopoints in the bank so they're safe and gain interest, and only spend points when necessary.
2. Check out the Auction House often. You can frequently get discounts on rare items that players want to sell quickly. To visit the Auction House, click "Shops" in the toolbar, then select "Auctions" from the drop-down menu. Browse through the items and bid on the ones you want.
3. Look at the Trading Post, where you can trade Neopoints and items with other players. This is typically how the most valuable items are exchanged. Visit the Trading Post by finding "Trading Post" under the "Shops" drop-down menu. Search for the items you want, and make an offer with Neopoints, items or a combination of the two.
4. Visit Fyora's Hidden Tower. This is a shop filled with rare and expensive items. You can buy one item every 24 hours from this shop, and items will often retire from it without notice. Fyora's Hidden Tower is in Faerie City. You enter the tower by clicking on one of the castle spires, but it's not labeled on the map.
5. Enter a contest. Neopets constantly has competitions going on, and winning them can earn you Neopoints, trophies and rare items. There are contests for beauty, webpage design contests and poetry, for example.
