Unlike the earlier Sims games, "The Sims: Pet Stories" can be played on a laptop.
"The Sims: Pet Stories" is a PC game in which the player is charged with the task of caring for lovable, spirited pets. It is a great alternative to the traditional Sims games for those with laptops or less advanced video cards. However, as with the earlier Sims games, a large part of the fun lies in discovering and importing new content to personalize the game. To import new hairstyles for your Sims, the steps are somewhat different from those used in other Sims games.
Instructions
1. Go to the The Sims Stories website. (See Resources.) Select "Downloads," and then choose the hairstyle you would like to import into your game. You will be prompted to log in, or to register for an account, if you have not already done so.
2. Log in, or register with the site. Click "Download." Save the file to your desktop. The package installer will automatically load.
3. Click "Install," and your new custom hairstyle will be available for use in the game.
