Morphing potions provide a magical method of changing a Neopet.
"Neopets" provides users with several methods of modifying a pet. Morphing potions are one such method. The game features 54 different species of Neopets, with several potions representing each of them. The magical elixirs work to change a pet's color, species or both. For instance, using a Yellow Yurble Morphing Potion on a blue Yurble will change the pet to a yellow Yurble. In contrast, using a Plushie Cybunny Morphing Potion on a red Meerca will change both the pet's color and species. You can get a morphing potion by going to the Trading Post, Magic Shop or Auction House.
Instructions
Neopian Magic Shop
1. Go to the Neopian Magic Shop by logging in to your "Neopets" account and clicking on the "Shops" link on the top of the page. The shop is located on the left side, at the bottom.
2. Click on the shop to go inside it. Scan all available potions to find the morphing potions of your choice. Shops are randomly stocked, and you might have to refresh several times before finding your dream potion.
3. Click on the potion's image when you find the one you want. A pop-up box will appear confirming your choice. Click "OK" to go to the haggle page. Type your offer into the box and click on the Neopet image below it.
Trading Post
4. Find the Mystery Island Trading Post by moving your cursor over the shops link, and select "Trading Post" from the drop down menu.
5. Locate the blue "Browse Lots" link at the top of the page and click on it. Type your desired morphing potion's name into the search box, and click on the "Find Those Trades" button underneath it.
6. Scan the search results to find the morphing potion that you wish to purchase. Click on the "Make an Offer" button under the trade of your choosing. On the next page, select the item that you wish to offer and type the amount of neopoints that you are willing to pay. Wait for the other user to either accept or reject your offer.
Neopian Auction House
7. Locate the Neopian Auction House by clicking the "Shops" link at the top of the page. The Auction House is the gavel-shaped building at the top of the page. Click on it.
8. Find the blue "Auction Genie" link located underneath the auctioneer's image, and select it. Type the name of the morphing potion into the search box, and click on the "Search Auctions" button.
9. Click on the item on which you want to bid. Type the amount of neopoints you wish to pay in the offer box at the bottom of the page. There are likely to be several other players vying for the potion, so pay close attention to those who outbid you.
