Neopets is an interactive website that lets users play games, chat with other players and adopt pets. There are 54 different types of Neopets to choose from, and most of them are readily available to adopt at any time. The only pets that cannot be adopted at any time are the limited edition and restricted pets. But there are still ways to achieve a limited edition pet. There are eight limited edition pets to choose from including the Chomby, Cybunny, Hissi, Jetsam, Kiko and Koi. The pets can be obtained by several different methods.
Instructions
1. Create a limited edition pet on the day celebrating that particular Neopet. The site celebrates pets at different times of the year and often releases limited edition pets during those times. For instance, Cybunnies are often released on April 27 each year. Check the Neopian calendar, which can be found by clicking the "Pet central" link at the top any page on the site. A drop-down menu will appear with a link to the calendar. When the day comes, keep refreshing the "Create a pet" page and wait for that limited edition pet to show up.
2. Use the lab ray. Players can zap any pet, once per day, using the laboratory ray. The results will vary, and it may take some time, but a limited edition pet can be obtained using this method.
3. Purchase a morphing potion. Buying a morphing potion and having a pet drink it is another method of obtaining a limited edition Neopet. After buying the correct potion, go to your inventory and click the potion's image. A small window will appear with a drop-down menu. Choose to have a pet drink the potion, and it will morph into the desired pet species.
4. Search through the pound. The Neopian pound often has limited edition pets that users have abandoned. This may take some time, and a user has to have an account that is at least four months old to adopt one of the limited or restricted pets.
