Make Your Dogs Run Away On "Nintendogs"

Taking your dog for long walks is another good way to find presents.

"Nintendogs" is a pet simulation game developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS handheld video game console. The game requires you to care for and train different types of virtual dogs. As you train the dogs, they learn new tricks and perform new actions, such as running away and returning with a present for you, that make it possible for you to progress through the game and improve your score. You cannot force the dog to run away, but you can encourage it to run away.

Instructions

1. Walk, play and care for your dog to improve its overall condition, as detailed in the game's tutorial.

2. Check your dog's condition by tapping the dog's name on the touchscreen. To encourage the dog to run away, it must be in a good overall condition. If any aspects of its condition are not listed as Good or Very Good, continue caring for and training those aspects of the dog until it achieves a higher standard.

3. Leave the game running but do not interact with the dog for approximately one hour. During this time, the dog automatically runs away and returns with a present for you.

4. Check the dog's condition again when it returns. Certain aspects will have deteriorated during its absence and should be improved to get the dog back into a good overall condition.
