If you're interested in playing a pet-related game on your Nintendo DS, several choices are available from the "Petz Rescue" family: "Endangered Paradise," "Ocean Patrol" and "Wildlife Vet." The three games allow you to play the role of a rescue worker, animal trainer or veterinarian, respectively. You don't need prior animal experience to enjoy these games; each explains the challenges step-by-step.
Petz Rescue: Endangered Paradise
In the "Endangered Paradise" edition, you help protect and rescue 12 different types of wild animals while cleaning and recycling in four different environments: forest, taiga, savanna and desert. Ultimately, you teach and team up with other inhabitants of the island to solve the mystery of the island's endangerment.
Petz Rescue: Ocean Patrol
In "Ocean Patrol," you play a wild animal trainer on a quest to save sea creatures. You are able to interact with animals that include sea lions, sharks, blue whales, turtles and several endangered marine species. In your quest to protect against the destruction of ocean wildlife, you'll work with fellow rescuers.
Petz Rescue: Wildlife Vet
In "Wildlife Vet," you play a veterinarian working to heal endangered animals. The challenges take place in places around the world as you treat sea turtles, panda bears, kangaroos, elephants, giraffes, panthers, penguins and panda bears. After treat their various ailments, you release them back into the wild.
