The Siberian cat historically made their homes in the monasteries of Russia. They tend to be very loyal and are given to very human displays of affection. They are a good cat for those that are allergic to cats because of their dander. Siberians have no dander because they lack the protein that forms the dander on most cats. Read on to learn more.
Instructions
1. Look closely at the head of the Siberian cat. The head is shaped as a modified wedge with rounded contours. The head is medium sized.
2. Look into the Siberian's eyes. They should be round with slight angle towards the bottom of the ear.
3. Feel the weight of the Siberian. The weight is much more than would be expected from appearances. The cat has very well developed muscles and therefore weight.
4. Examine the tail. The Siberian has a tail that is fairly broad and tapering down to the tip with a heavy fur cover.
5. Run your hand through the fur. The Siberian has a very plush coat and is non-matting. They shed twice a year very rapidly. Their coats are a triple coat for added warmth.
