Rescue A Lhasa Apso

A Lhasa Apso

Lhasa Apsos are cute and are one of the most popular pets especially among people that live in apartments. They are small and easy to maintain and are very lovable. However, Lhasa's tend to have some health issues such as skin problems and hip dysplasia. Therefore, before choosing one for your home make sure you have enough money to spend on these precious creatures to keep them in the best of health.

Instructions

1. Donate your time. In order to do this you can work in a Lhasa Apso rescue club. You can offer your time to answer phones, create letters, organize mailings, and help with advertising. The more people learn about the rescue club the more they are willing to help out in order to help rescue abandoned dogs.

2. Foster a Lhasa Apso or two in your home. Sometimes the rescue club will need help from volunteers willing to keep the dogs in their home until they find a permanent home. You will be rescuing them from being killed.

3. Donate money. The fastest way to help rescue a Lhasa Apso is to donate money to one of their rescue organizations. The organizers will search city animal shelters to rescue the Lhasas and bring them to a volunteer's home. In order to do this they have to pay the city a fee and donations will help pay for this. Donations will also help pay for any shots and surgeries needed for the dogs.

4. Offer items that the rescue organization can use. By donating dog beds, toys, and food to homes fostering the Lhasa Apsos the organization will not have to spend money on these kinds of supplies. Donating office supplies such as envelopes for mailings, stamps, paper, ink cartridges for the printer are all helpful for getting the word out and lowering spending costs.

5. Adopt a Lhasa Apso. If you want to help rescue the Lhasa then the fastest way will be to adopt one. Make sure you have the money, space, and time for your new pet.
